Most parents love a great deal, and you definitely get that with the Mockingbird strollers. They offer both a Single stroller and Single-to-Double stroller which starts as a single and can be converted to a double. One of the major appeals of the Mockingbird strollers is that they rival the high-end UPPAbaby strollers, but at less than half the price. The Mockingbird Single stroller is a good “knock-off”  to the UPPAbaby Cruz V2 (see the full comparison here). Whereas the Mockingbird Single-to-Double is a good knock-off of the UPPAbaby Vista V2 (see the full comparison here).

Parents who are looking for a good value may also be wondering if you can using the Mockingbird strollers as a jogging stroller.

Can the Mockingbird Strollers be Used for Jogging?

No, the Mockingbird strollers should not be used for jogging.

If you want to jog with your child, you should invest in a jogging stroller, a stroller meant specifically for this task. Jogging with a jogging stroller (as opposed to the Mockingbird) is safer and will be more comfortable for both the parent and child.

Can You Run with the Mockingbird Stroller?

No, you should not run with the Mockingbird strollers. Again, you should invest in a jogging stroller, a stroller meant specifically for running.

Differences Between the Mockingbird and Jogging Strollers.

Jogging strollers have been built and tested specifically for jogging and running. Jogging strollers have one wheel in the front as opposed to the two wheels that the Mockingbird has. Jogging strollers also have larger wheels, better suspension and important safety features, like  wrist straps.

Does Mockingbird Make a Jogging Stroller?

Mockingbird currently does not make a jogging stroller. However, we would love to see this from them in the future!

Jogging Stroller Options Instead of the Mockingbird

Since the Mockingbird strollers are not meant for jogging or running, here are some alternate options:

Single Jogging Strollers

Though the Mockingbird is now sold in Target, they had their start using a direct-to-consumer business model. This is similar to the Guava Family company, which offers a jogging stroller (that can also be used as an everyday stroller). They pride themselves on having a very easy and compact fold.
