Yes, you can find Nuna products on sale.
One important thing to note is that only authorized retailers are allowed to sell Nuna products and Nuna is very strict on when retailers can put their items on sale. This does have some upsides for the consumer. You don’t have to shop around in search of the best deal. If Nuna is on sale at one retailer, you’ll find the exact same price at other retailers.
There are 4 times a year that Nuna products may go on sale.
It’s pretty much a guarantee that you’ll find Nuna products on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. However, don’t expect all of their products to go on sale. We typically don’t see this. The Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale may only include certain products or certain colors.
2. July/August (during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale)
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is another time of year when we see Nuna products go on sale. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale typically runs in the July/August timeframe. Nordstrom carries exclusive colors of certain Nuna car seats and strollers, and usually we’ll see these on sale during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Sometimes the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale will also extend to other colors of certain Nuna products.
However, just like during Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Nuna doesn’t put all of their products or all colors on sale.
During the time of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, we often find that Nuna products will also be on sale at all their other retailers.
3. When Discontinuing a Product
This is very rare and happens less than yearly. Unlike one of their major competitors, UPPAbaby, Nuna does not come out with new colors for their products on a yearly basis. Therefore, Nuna does not discontinue colors of their products yearly like UPPAbaby does. However, sometimes Nuna will retire a color of a certain product and place it on sale.
Nuna will also put products on sale when they are being discontinued or replaced by another product. For instance, when the Nuna Mixx was replaced by the updated version, the Nuna Mixx Next, retailers were able to put the outdated Nuna Mixx on sale. Unfortunately, there’s really no way of knowing when Nuna will update or refresh their products, causing the prior model to go on sale.
4. Randomly
Nuna will randomly put their products on sale – usually one product at a time. For instance, all the Aace booster seats, but nothing else. Unfortunately, sometimes there’s just no rhyme or reason to when you’ll find Nuna products on sale. If you have your eye on something and have some time, just keep checking back and you may get lucky!
These are the 4 instances we see Nuna products go on sale. The most guaranteed and predictable times of year are in November for Black Friday/Cyber Monday and July/August during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (the Nuna sale is typically not just limited to Nordstrom!). However, even this is not 100% guaranteed, as Nuna strictly controls their pricing for all retailers.
