Many parents love the convenience of having a travel system – where you can click the infant car seat into the stroller.
The Mockingbird stroller was new to the stroller world in 2019. Mockingbird currently doesn’t manufacture their own car seat, but there are several car seats from other brands that are compatible with the Mockingbird stroller. Let’s take a look!

There are multiple car seats compatible with the Mockingbird stroller. However, you must purchase the adapter separately from the Mockingbird website. Each car seat adapter for the Mockingbird stroller costs $30. Unlike a lot of stroller companies, Mockingbird makes it extremely easier on their webiste to find the correct car seat adapter.

What’s the lightest car seat that’s compatible with the Mockingbird stroller?
The lightest infant car seat that’s compatible with the Mockingbird stroller is the Nuna Pipa Lite. The Nuna Pipa Lite is actually the lightest infant car seat on the market – it weighs 5.3 pounds. The Nuna Pipa Lite LX comes in close second, weighing 5.7 pounds.
What car seats are flame retardant free that are compatible with the Mockingbird stroller?
If you’re looking for a car seat compatible with your Mockingbird stroller and you’re concerned about chemical flame retardants, then your options are the Nuna Pipa, Nuna Pipa Lite, Nuna Pipa Lite LX and Britax Endeavors (in “Safewash Otto”). Note that only the color “Safewash Otto” is flame retardant-free and the other colors contain chemical flame retardants.
