Does Disney’s Polynesian Resort have a Playground? 2021

So you’re wondering if the Disney Polynesian resort has a playground?

Does the Disney Polynesian Resort have a playground? 2021

Unfortunately, the answer is no.  The Polynesian at Disney World does not have a playground.

There is some outdated information on-line saying that the Polynesian does have a playground, but that’s no longer true.  Things are always changing at Disney World and apparently a playground at Polynesian did not make the cut.

Things to do with Preschoolers at the Polynesian Resort

Even though there’s not a playground at Disney World’s Polynesian Resort, there are plenty of other ways to keep a preschooler or toddler entertained:

  • Swim in the pool or splash pad (resort guests only)
  • Watch the waterfall (outside Capt Cooks)
  • Play in the sand at the beach (take turns covering up each others feet)
  • Look at the passing boats
  • Go on a boat ride (you don’t have to get off.  Make it a round trip!)
  • Look at the monorails
  • Ride a monorail (once this monorail stop opens back up!)
  • Sit in a swing at the beach
  • Walk around the outside of the resort – look at the plants, lizards, rocks etc.
  • Walk around the inside of the resort – look at the various decorations – can you find Moana’s oars hung on the wall 😉
  • Browse the gift shops
  • Eat a fun snack (may we suggest the Moana cupcake)
  • Look at Cinderella’s castle
  • Run around the grassy area (outside of Capt Cooks)
  • People watch
  • Make friends with other young kids
  • Take silly pictures

Hopefully this was helpful in planning your next trip! *Sharing is caring*
