One important thing to note is that only authorized retailers are allowed to sell Clek products and Clek is very strict on when retailers can put their items on sale. This does have some upsides for the consumer. You don’t have to shop around in search of the best deal. If Clek is on sale at one retailer, you’ll find the exact same price at other retailers.
There are 3 times a year that Clek products may go on sale.
It’s pretty much a guarantee that you’ll find certain Clek car seats on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday/”Cyber Week”. However, don’t expect all of their products to go on sale. We typically don’t see this. The Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale may only include certain products or certain colors.
2. When Discontinuing a color or product
Similar to another popular baby gear brand, UPPAbaby, Clek typically comes out with new colors for their car seats on a yearly basis. In the same fashion, Clek will often discontinue a couple colors each year as well. When Clek “retires” a color, they will often put it on sale.
Clek will also put products on sale when they are updated. However, this happens very infrequently, as Clek rarely makes updates to their car seats aside from the color.
3. Randomly
Clek will randomly put their products on sale – usually one product or one color at a time. Unfortunately, sometimes there’s just no rhyme or reason to when you’ll find Clek products on sale. If you have your eye on something and have some time, just keep checking back and you may get lucky!
These are the 3 instances we see Clek products go on sale. However, none of this is 100% guaranteed, as Clek strictly controls their pricing for all retailers. The most likely and predictable times of year you’ll find Clek on sale is in November for Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
Clek products are sold at multiple chain stores as well as small boutiques. Because Clek controls their pricing, the price should be the same no matter where you buy from. The one exception to this is when Clek car seats are put on sale due to the outdated colors – in this case, you’re limited on what the store has in stock.
