If you’re looking for the best price on Winky Lux, we recommend either shopping at Target (especially if you have a RedCard) or directly from the Winky Lux website. Winky Lux has a nice rewards program where you can save money. They will also occasionally have sales (and they offer a generous discount to students!).
We had to practice some serious self-control when looking through the Winky Lux website. Our review is focused on some of their skincare products, but we also want to highlight some of the other products that caught our eye. They seriously have some of the most unique products and fun packaging . These would make some great gifts for yourself, a friend, or any tween/teen in your life. Here are some things that caught our eyes – specifically because of the fun and unique packaging:
We tried a variety of the Winky Lux skincare line and wanted to share our honest review! We took the skincare quiz and tried several of the recommended products. Our major concerns are fine line and wrinkles.
Product Description: Winky Lux Orchid Gelée Serum is fleur real. This unique super serum is packed with skin-loving goodness to hydrate and balance. Hyaluronic acid helps to hydrate and strengthen skin’s outer barrier while collagen stimulating peptides provide anti-aging benefits and help stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Botanical powerhouse dendrobium nobile orchid extract delivers intense moisture and may help create more even looking skin. The delicate vegan petals dissolve on contact.
Our Review of the Winky Lux Orchid Gelée Serum:
We were initially drawn to the Winky Lux Orchid Gelée Serum due to the flower petals floating in the serum. So unique! This serum has such a luxe look, but at an affordable price. (It’s actually sold at Nordstrom and fits right in. But it’s also sold at Target!). The Winky Lux Orchid Gelée Serum meets Target’s “Clean” standards. The notable ingredient in this serum is hyaluronic acid. The serum is liquid-y and absorbed quickly and effortlessly in our skin. The Winky Lux Orchid serum does have a scent that lingers on the skin for a while (it does contain parfum/fragrance). We would describe the scent as floral/perfume-y. It left our skin feeling soft and could be worn alone or underneath make-up. It left our skin feeling hydrated. We used this product regularly and did not experience any adverse reactions to this product (we would describe our skin as sensitive).
Bottom-Line: Why We Love It:
Product Description: Give your skin the ultimate double tap with Winky Lux Digital Defense+ Gelée Serum Concentrate. The unique serum is packed with blue light protecting marine actives that help defend against harmful blue light rays from electronic devices (aka the smartphone and laptop you can’t put down). Vitamin F and linoleic acid keep skin plump and hydrated, while tropical fruit extracts moisturize and reduce fine line appearance.
Our Review:
We’re drawn to the new wave of skincare dedicated to blue light protection. The Winky Lux Digital Defense serum contains marine actives that are found in some high-end skincare products (like this one), but at a fraction of the price. The Winky Lux Digital Defense+ Gelée Serum also contains coconut water, banana extract and mango extract. The serum does have a scent that lingers on the face (it contains fragrance/parfum). We can’t exactly put our finger on the scent. We don’t get any hints of mango or banana, but maybe a combination of floral/vanilla/coconut? The consistency of the serum is jelly-like. It spreads easily on the skin, but does leave a slight tacky feel on the skin’s surface. Perfect for gripping to make-up and definitely helps to lock in moisture. It felt cooling and refreshing when first applied. We used this product regularly and did not experience any adverse reactions (we would describe our skin as sensitive).
We love the packaging of the Winky Lux Digital Defense serum! Everything from the box to the bottle! We love the glass bottle and the fact we can see how much product is left. It also comes with a cap that fits perfectly over the pump that makes it travel-friendly. You also don’t have to worry about product spilling out in your make-up bag or drawer!
Seriously, how cute is this packaging!
Bottom-Line: Why We Love It:

Our Review:
Everyone needs Vitamin C in their skincare routine. Vitamin C is an antioxidant, meaning it fights harmful toxins that come in contact with your skin. Vitamin C also accelerates the production of both collagen and elastin, which help keep the skin plump and firm.
The Winky Lux Vitamin C serum comes in a glass jar with a dropper. The dropper comes in handy because the serum is very liquid-y. Our skin drank it up and absorbed the serum quickly. The serum does have a scent (it contains parfum/fragrance), but once applied to the skin, we couldn’t really smell it anymore. We would describe the scent as perfume-y, with a note of orange citrus.

Our Review:
Although fine lines and wrinkles are our primary concern, we avoid products that contain retinol. One of the best non-toxic alternatives to retinol is bakuchiol, a plant-based extract. Products containing bakuchiol can be pretty pricey, but the Winky Lux In The Cloud Serum offers the same powerful ingredient at a more affordable price. Winky Lux calls this product a “cream oil”. It is milky white in color and has a thin consistency. Our skin drank it up and it left our skin feeling soft and silky. This could be worn by itself or underneath make-up. The Winky Lux In The Clouds Retinol Alternative Cream Oil does have a scent that lingers for a bit (the product contains fragrance/parfum). We would describe the scent as floral/perfume-y. We used this product regularly and not experience any adverse reactions (we would describe our skin as sensitive). The bottle is glass and the pump comes with a cap that fits perfectly (as shown below).
Bottom-Line: Why We Love It:
Overall, we really enjoyed all the skincare products we tried from Winky Lux. We like that they offer ingredients that give a powerful punch (like Vitamin C, backuchiol, marine actives, etc.), but at a lower, more affordable price-point. We felt the products were gentle on our skin (our skin is sensitive and we didn’t have any adverse reactions with frequent use). One of the things that makes Winky Lux stand out, and what completely blew us away, is the packaging. The Winky Lux packaging (from the box to the bottle), is super cute and unique. The fun packaging makes doing a skincare routine more enjoyable (it’s the little things!). The fun packaging also makes any of these products perfect to gift or include in a gift basket.
