Here’s a list of non-toxic Easter Basket ideas for babies!

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. PLEASE READ MY DISCLOSURE FOR MORE INFO.

For the base, use a basket or container that will serve a useful purpose the rest of the year. Bonus points if you can re-use something you already have laying around your house.

Large Organic Basket

Made by Under the Nile.

WHY WE LOVE IT: Made of Palm Fronds. Contains NO Azo colorants, BPA, flame retardants, formaldehyde, fragrance, PVC or lead. Made in Egypt at a sustainable Certified Fair Trade facility without the use of pesticides or chemicals throughout the entire production process.

Playsilk

Skip the Easter basket grass that’s going to end up in the landfill. If you want the “grass” feel, go with a green playsillk that will get years of enjoyment. The possibilities are endless.

Now, for the fillers!

Pacifiers

Why not stick something in the Easter basket that you would be buying regardless?

If your baby takes a pacifier, opt for one made of natural rubber! We love them because the are sustainably made, biodegradable, and don’t have all the toxic stuff like many conventional pacifiers (PVC, phthalates, etc.). Pacifiers made of natural rubber do need to be replaced pretty frequently so this is a perfect Easter basket filler.

Sippy Cups

Another practical item! Even if you don’t have a sippy cup drinker yet, you can include one in their Easter basket (the time for one will be here before you know it!). I like this sippy cup from Pura. It’s non-toxic, made of stainless steel with a silicone spout. I also love the longevity of this item, as you can swap out the sippy spout with a straw, and later a sports bottle. The one downside I’ve found is that it was a little big and bulky for baby to use independently for a few months…but not a deal breaker for me (babies don’t need a lot of water in the beginning anyways)!

Wood & Silicone Teether

Seriously, how cute are these?! I love that these teethers give baby two distinct textures, and the ears are perfect for reaching farther back in their mouth. The bunny + pastel colors make this a perfect Easter gift. Made of natural wood and silicone, so super safe for baby. If you want to see the other colors they offer or purchase, check them out here.

Carrot Teether

Made of natural rubber. Perfect for bath time!

This bunny lovey is made by one of my favorite companies, Under the Nile. Under the Nile makes fair trade organic clothes and toys. You don’t have to be concerned with your child putting this lovey in their mouth or carrying it around 24/7, as it’s made of GOTS certified organic cotton. It also comes in pink or blue!

Stainless Steel “Key” Teether

This teether by Kleynimals is revolutionary. Teething babies love the coolness in their mouth and it’s much safer than playing with real keys.

“If I were a duck…” book

Books are a preferred gift over toys in my opinion (more on that here), so of course we recommend including a book in baby’s Easter basket. This one is great as it’s a touch and feel board book that fits in perfectly with the theme of Easter.

These next set of toys are all made from Plan Toys. The pastel colors of this collection are perfect for Easter! I just picked out a few of my favorites, but you can see more of the collection here. We love Plan Toys because they’re non-toxic (perfect for babies who put everything in their mouth) and sustainably made.
