Last Minute Stocking Stuffer Ideas for the Entire Family – 2020

Last Minute Stocking Stuffer Ideas

Twas’ the night before Christmas and shoot….you need some last minute stocking stuffers!  Fear not, we’ve got tons of ideas!  With no time to shop on-line, all of these last minute stocking stuffers can be found at Target!  Finding last minute stocking stuffers becomes even easier with Target’s drive-up service!

When looking for stocking stuffers, we like practical items – items that will actually be used or consumed.  When it comes to kids, we go for practical items or high-quality toys.  It’s tempting to fill stocking stuffers with cheap junk.  However, it’s inevitable that these items will get minutes of play then completely forgotten about.  We would much rather get high-quality and open-ended toys that will keep children’s interest far past Christmas day!  And high-quality doesn’t necessarily mean expensive!  There are plenty of cheap, affordable stocking stuffers for kids!

We’ve put together a list of last minute stocking stuffers for everyone in the family – from babies to adults.  If your house is anything like ours, everyone in the family has a stocking.

Stocking Stuffers Ideas for Anyone!

Silicone Straws:  This is a great cheap stocking stuffers for anyone on your list – from toddlers to adults.  Silicone straws can make drinking a bit more enticing, all while helping the environment by replacing the one-time use plastic straws.  Have lots of stockings to fill?  Silicone straws often come in multi-packs, so it’s a great item to split among multiple people!

Tile Mate:  This is the perfect stocking stuffer for those who are always losing something (or maybe afraid of losing something important).  Attach the tile to an item or place it in an item – keys, bags, wallet, etc.  The tile mate has a 200 foot bluetooth radius.  You can ping your tile mate and find your missing item.

Sweet Treats:  Candy is a staple for many people’s stockings!  You can’t go wrong with the classics like a chocolate santa!  We love other Christmas classics like the Reese’s Christmas trees (or equally tasty Reese’s Lights).  If you’re looking for more upscale ideas, how about these Ghirardelli Holiday Peppermint Bark Chocolate Snowmen or Chocolate Dipped Hot Cocoa Spoons?  For the kids (or kid in all of us!), Fun Dip makes a great stocking stuffer!

SheaMoisture Body Set:  We love SheaMoisture for non-toxic bath and body products.  This is a great way to try some of their products – also perfect for traveling.  This would be a great set to split up among multiple stocking stuffers.  Perfect for kids, tweens, teens or adults!

Seaweed Body Wash:  Also in the bath and body category, is this body wash is a fun novelty stocking stuffer (but still practical!).  The body wash itself is black and made of seaweed!  We love the non-toxic ingredients and can also attest to its efficacy!  Kids and adults alike will be interested in this.

Games:  With more time being spent at home, games are a great stocking stuffer this year, now more than ever.  Skip-Bo and Bananagrams are both fun games that the whole family will love.

Felt Succulent DIY Craft:  A fun craft to pass the time, for both kids and adults.  Once done, it makes nice decor!  With succulents be all the rage right now, this felt succulent craft makes a  perfect stocking stuffer for those with a black thumb!

Eye Mask:  For less than $5, this eye mask makes a great addition to a stocking.  As an added bonus, it comes in a variety of colors!

Home Gym Goodies:  If getting fit is on the agenda going into the new year, then consider some accessories for the home gym as a stocking stuffer.  Dumbbells have been a hot commodity this year, but would likely be too heavy for a stocking – instead, we’re loving jump ropes and sliding core discs.

Stocking Stuffers Ideas for Adults, Teens & Tweens

Long iPhone Charger: Having a 10 foot phone charger is a game changer!  If you know someone who lives on their phone or who always has a low battery, then this is the perfect stocking stuffer for them!

Tweezers:  When it comes to tweezer, Tweezerman does it best!  This is a bit of a splurge item, but if you’ve got an eyebrow connoisseur in your life, then these tweezers are worth it!  They are high-quality and luxurious!  And work much better than the cheap versions!  We love the trendy Rose Gold color that these come in!

Mini Bottle of Wine:  This one’s for the adults only.  There’s simply something irresistible about these mini bottles of wine.  A cheap and easy stocking stuffer for those that like to drink.  There’s plenty of options to suit any palette.

Lodge Cast Iron Kit:  Our cast iron is one of our favorite kitchen cookware items!  Those who have a cast iron probably feel the same – they have a cult-like following!  This cast iron kit is perfect for those who love their cast iron. Or if you’re getting someone a cast iron for Christmas (a great gift!), then this cast iron kit in their stocking makes a great accompaniment.

Stocking Stuffers for the Young Ones

Sunglasses:  It may be cold and gloomy where you live, but getting a cool pair of sunglasses in your kid’s stocking will get them excited about brighter days ahead.  There are tons of styles to choose from.  We love sunglasses as a stocking stuffer because it’s a practical item that will help protect your child’s eyes.

Activity Tracker for Kids:  Activity/fitness trackers are all the rage with kids of all ages.  Garmen Vivofit Jr. is a popular model among kids and parents.  It comes in a variety of model and themes, like Disney Princesses & Marvel.

Doll Accessories:  If you have a child with an American Girl or Our Generation doll, then don’t forget to include them for Christmas!  Target sells cheap and affordable doll accessories, like this School Accessory set – it comes with a backpack and tons of school supplies.  If your child likes to play school with their doll, then this is sure to be a hit!

Fun Band-Aids:  A fun, yet practical gift!  If you’re kid is boo-boo prone (what kid isn’t), then stock up with some fun band-aids.  Indulge in your child’s favorite characters – they have everything from Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, Star Wars, Frozen, Mickey Mouse…you get the idea!

LEGO sets:  These small LEGO sets make perfect stocking stuffers.  You can never go wrong with LEGOS!  Some popular options include this Minecraft Lego set and  McLaren Senna set, but there are tons of small sets sure to fit any interest.  We love LEGOS because it’s engaging and stimulating for kids.  This will also make a great project to work on after the Christmas festivities have slowed down.

For younger kids, check out LEGO Duplo.  We love this Tow Truck set and Minnie Mouse set!

Musical Instruments:  Give the gift of music this Christmas!  This musical instrument set by Melissa & Doug makes a great stocking stuffer (once you take out of the box!).  This also is perfect to split among multiple kids!

Fishing Game/Toy:  We have this Catch and Counting Fishing Game by Melissa & Doug and it’s a hit!  It’s recommended for ages 3+, but we gave it to our 2 year old.  She loves to play with the fish and the magnetic aspect is a good challenge for her.  This is a great learning toy for numbers, counting and hand-eye coordination.  To make this a stocking stuffer, you’ll want to take it out of the packaging (yes, the fishing poles will peek out of the stocking, but we like the look of that and think kids will too!).  This is perfect to split among two kids, as it comes with two fishing poles!

Baby Banana Toothbrush TeetherThis teether is perfect for the baby in the family!  We love this banana toothbrush teether!  It’s cute, easy for baby to handle and helps establish early teeth brushing habits!  We also like this teether compared to many others on the market because it’s made of silicone as opposed to plastic.
