There are so many great finds at IKEA that can make Easter or springtime more festive in your house. Everything from decor to cooking must-haves.
IKEA also has great Easter baskets and Easter basket fillers. IKEA may not be top of mind for Easter baskets or Easter basket fillers, but it should be. Especially if you fall into a time crunch.
In this article, we’ll share some of our favorite Easter baskets, Easter basket fillers and other products perfect for Easter – all sold at IKEA! However, with the current stock supply issues, you may not have luck finding every product in stock. Luckily, IKEA has a great feature on their website showing what items they have and how many. We’ve found this tool to be very helpful and pretty accurate.

No, IKEA does not sell traditional Easter baskets that you would find in the Easter aisle at Target. However, they sell a variety of baskets that can be used as an Easter basket. We like the idea of using a basket like this for an Easter basket because it can be used all-year round.
Seagrass Basket We love this seagrass basket! It’s very pliable and can even be folded in to give a different look. The longer handles also make it a good Easter basket for Easter egg hunts.
Banana Fiber Basket Here is a sturdy basket made from woven banana fibers. This would also make a great Easter basket that you can pick up at IKEA.
Bamboo Basket Here is another great option from IKEA that can be used as an Easter basket – then incorporated into your everyday home organization!
Wire Basket with Birch Handle This basket is lightweight even though it is made of wire with a birch handle. It comes in a variety of color options (if you can find them in stock). The handle of this basket also makes it good for using on an Easter egg hunt.
There are tons of small toys, trinkets and treats that you can pick up at IKEA that make perfect Easter basket fillers. Some of these items could even be Easter egg fillers.
Build-It-Yourself Chocolate Bunny This is probably the most famous product on our list. Perfectly aligned with the IKEA aesthetic, a build-it-yourself chocolate bunny! We saw plenty of these in stock at our local IKEA in March, but they are sure to sell out as it gets closer to Easter. The IKEA chocolate Easter bunny is sure to get some laughs, since like most IKEA products, assembly is required. Perfect for kids, tweens, teens or adults.
Chocolate Eggs IKEA also has individually-wrapped chocolate eggs. The eggs are filled with hazelnut filling. YUM! These would make great Easter egg fillers.
“Chick” Sour Foam Candy IKEA has a nice selection of candy (often past the check-out lanes), but this particular one is perfect for any Easter basket. The packaging is colorful and features Easter eggs. The candy itself is shaped like chicks poking out of an egg. “This happy, spring-bright candy is shaped like an Easter chick and has a refreshingly sour taste of apple.”
Various Other Candy If the Easter themed candy doesn’t appeal to you (or is sold out), then don’t despair. IKEA has a variety of other candy that’s perfect for any Easter basket. We always like trying the candy at IKEA. They often have unique shapes and flavors!
Cardboard Easter Egg Containers These cardboard Easter eggs are a nice large size perfect to hold treats or small toys. (They are approved for food contact).
IKEA Bag Keychain For less than a dollar, why not throw in this cute IKEA bag keychain. Perfect for any IKEA-loving kid or teen!
Stuffed Animals/Soft Toys IKEA has tons of stuffed animals (or soft toys) at an affordable price. Ranging in all sizes with lots of variety. Yes, you could get the bunny to keep with the Easter theme, but we recommend getting any toy that you think your little one would like, whether it’s a dinosaur, tennis ball or cat!
Finger Puppets For less than $5, you can get 10 finger puppets. Though these aren’t the best quality, we have these and still enjoy them. They would make great, non-candy Easter egg fillers. We like to keep these in the car to use as entertainment.
Art Supplies We love the idea of giving “consumables” as gifts, including art supplies that kids and teens can ‘use up’. This reduces the chances that something will sit in the back of a closet or collect dust. Having a variety of art supplies on hand can also inspire creativity and imagination. IKEA surprisingly has a great selection of high-quality art supplies at an affordable price. Here are some of our favorites:
Perler Beads Did you know IKEA sells their own version of perler beads? And at a fraction of the price of your local craft store. This would make a great Easter basket filler for older children and tweens.
Whether you’re hosting a crowd or just spending time with the immediate family, IKEA has tons of cute products for the home, perfect for springtime and Easter.
Festive Doormat We love these two doormats, perfect for Spring and Easter time! Both are fun and colorful! The rainbow doormat is fun and bright! The striped doormat still adds a pop of color, but is more subtle due to the pastel colors.
Colorful Cups Colorful cups can really add to the springtime festivities! IKEA has lots of options at an affordable price. We love these blue/turquoise glasses as well as these pink cups!
