Alaffia is a brand that primarily makes bath and body products for men, women and children. One of their products is bubble bath. They have a special line of Babies and Kids bubble bath in the following 4 scents: Eucalyptus Mint, Lemon Lavender, Coconut Strawberry and Coconut Chamomile. They also sell an unscented bubble bath which could be used for babies and kids even though it doesn’t fall under their “Babies and Kids” line.
The Alaffia Babies and Kids Bubble Bath Soaps come in a 32 oz bottle (with a screw top) and has a recommended retail price of $14.99. It can be bought at retailers such as Whole Foods and Target.
We have the Alaffia Babies and Kids Bubble Bath in Eucalyptus Mint. Overall, we have been loving this bubble bath! It’s actually our favorite to date out of all the brands we have tried. Here is our review:
Our number one priority when buying bath and body products, especially for our little one, is the safety of the ingredients used. We feel comfortable with all of the ingredients in each scent of their babies and kids bubble bath.
Here is the full list of ingredients in the Eucalyptus Mint scent: Melissa officinalis (Lemon Balm) Aqueous Extract, Butyrospermum parkii (Shea) Leaf* Aqueous Extract, Decyl Glucoside, Lauryl Glucoside, Eucalyptus globulus (Eucalyptus) Oil, Citrus dulcis (Orange) Extract, Butyrospermum parkii (Shea) Butter*, Mentha spicata (Spearmint) Leaf Oil.
All of the Alaffia Babies and Kids Bubble Bath have a rating of 1 on EWG (Environmental Working Group). Note: Currently all scents are rated on EWG except the Coconut Chamomile scent, but based on our review of the ingredients, it would likely receive a 1 rating as well.
It’s not obvious on their website, but Alaffia products are cruelty-free. They have confirmed that they don’t test finished products or ingredients on animals, and neither do their suppliers. They also don’t sell their products where animal testing is required by law.
We love the core values held by Alaffia and are happy to support this brand and their mission.
Not only are Alaffia products safe for our skin, their products are also safe for the environent. Alaffia carries the Made-Safe certificate, Non-GMO Project certificate and the For Life and Fair For Life certificate by ECOCERT.
The MADE SAFE seal means that a product is made with ingredients not known or suspected to harm human health, animals or ecosystems. Such ingredients include known behavioral toxins, carcinogens, developmental toxins, endocrine disruptors, flame retardants, heavy metals, neurotoxins, high risk pesticides, reproductive toxins, toxic solvents, or harmful VOCs. Ingredients are then further examined for bioaccumulation, general ecosystem harm, as well as for aquatic and animal toxicity.
As the name implies, the Non-GMO Project is a third-party verification for non-GMO food and products.
The Alaffia bubble bath makes GREAT bubbles.
The directions state to use 2-4 capfuls of the product.
The bubbles build up well and have a long staying power. The bubbles last through even the longest of baths.
Here’s the proof!
Eucalyptus Mint isn’t your typical bubble bath scent, but we love it! If you’re not feeling so adventurous, lavender may be more your speed. We have Alaffia’s kid’s body wash in lavender and find it very relaxing. We like that the scent is noticeable but doesn’t linger on the skin once out of the bath.
The Alaffia bubble bath is one of our top picks for a non-toxic bubble bath. Not only are the ingredients ones we feel comfortable with, it actually works. Alaffia’s bubble bath makes tons of long-lasting bubbles. We love supporting this company and everything they stand for.
