The 2020 UPPAbaby Cruz V2 is a high end, full-size single stroller.
The UPPAbaby Cruz is a popular stroller that’s been around for almost a decade. The Cruz stroller first came out in 2011. Since 2011, the UPPAbaby Cruz has gone through some changes, but it’s always been referred to as the Cruz. As the case with many strollers, the year is what distinguishes the models from one another (2017 Cruz, 2018 Cruz, 2019 Cruz etc.). In most cases, the changes to the Cruz each year have been minor and often just included the addition or removal of certain color options. However, in 2020, the UPPAbaby Cruz underwent some major changes. With the significant upgrade, UPPAbaby gave the Cruz a name change – the Cruz V2. V2 in the Cruz V2 stands for “version 2”.
The Cruz V2 is being shipped in February of 2020. However, the release date is subject to change.
The 2020 Cruz V2 will be sold where all UPPAbaby products are sold, including Buy Buy Baby, Nordstrom and Pish Posh Baby. Prior to the release date, the 2020 Cruz V2 is available to pre-order from certain retailers including Pish Posh Baby.

The 2020 Cruz V2 ranges from $649.99-679.99 depending on what color you choose. Three of the Cruz V2 colors cost $649.99: Alice, Finn and Hazel. The remaining color options cost $30 more at $679.99. The more expensive color options are considered a more premium fabric.

The 2020 Cruz V2 can be used for infants age 3 months and up. The Cruz V2 is not appropriate for newborns out of the box, but you can buy various accessories separately to make it usable for newborns (the bassinet, SnugSeat or car seat adapters).
There is no maximum age limit of the Cruz V2. When your child will outgrow the Cruz V2 is dependent on their height and weight. The maximum weight limit of the 2020 Cruz V2 is 50 pounds.
The 2020 Cruz V2 weighs 21.5 pounds.
The dimensions of the Cruz V2 are 37 L x 22.25 W x 39.5 H.
The 2020 Cruz V2 has never-flat polyurethane tires. The front wheels are 6.4″ and the back wheels are 10″. The Cruz V2 has all-wheel suspension.
Due to the size of the wheels, the Cruz V2 will perform best on smooth surfaces like pavement and indoor surfaces.
The 2020 Cruz V2 toddler seat is reversible. It can rear-face towards the parent or forward face. The toddler seat has a multi-level position recline. One great thing about the recline is that is can be done with one hand! The Cruz V2 seat fully reclines, though it doesn’t lay completely flat since it’s a bucket style seat. For this reason, the toddler seat is not suitable for newborns. It’s recommended for ages 3 months and up, though you can buy several accessories that make it suitable for newborns – the Infant SnugSeat, the Bassinet or a compatible car seat (more on this below).
The 2020 Cruz V2 toddler seat has a 5-point, no-rethread harness. This makes adjusting the height of the straps a breeze! The no-rethread harness is a new feature in the 2020 Cruz V2 model that we love!
The Cruz V2 has a large canopy. It features a zip-out fabric canopy, providing greater coverage for your child. There are two mesh panels, one towards the front and one towards the back. This acts as a peek-a-boo window, as well as provides for airflow.
The 2020 Cruz V2 has an adjustable, telescopic handlebar that expands upwards from the frame. The height of the handlebar is 40.5″ at the lowest setting and 43″ at the tallest setting (from the ground).
The handlebar (as well as the bumper bar) is made of leather. All leather used by UPPAbaby is REACH certified – strict European Union standards. The leather is full-grain cow hide and no chemicals are used in the tanning process.

The 2020 Cruz V2 has a large basket under the seat (2.7 cubic feet to be exact). It has a capacity of 30 pounds.
The dimensions of the Cruz V2 when folded are: 16.5″L x 22.8″ W x 32.5″ H.
The seat of both Cruz V2 must be forward facing and in the most upright position in order to fold.
The Cruz V2 has a two-handed fold. There are two slide release triggers on the frame of the stroller that need to be pulled upward in order to collapse and fold the stroller. The stroller then can stand when folded if they handlebar is extended.
