Many parents love the convenience of having a travel system – where you can click the infant car seat into the stroller.
The Mockingbird stroller was new to the stroller world in 2019. Mockingbird currently doesn’t manufacture their own car seat, but there are several car seats from other brands that are compatible with the Mockingbird stroller. And the list keeps growing! Let’s take a look!

There are multiple car seats compatible with the Mockingbird stroller. However, you must purchase the adapter separately from the Mockingbird website. Each car seat adapter for the Mockingbird stroller costs $45. Unlike a lot of stroller companies, Mockingbird makes it extremely easy on their website to find the correct car seat adapter.

What’s the lightest car seat that’s compatible with the Mockingbird stroller?
The lightest infant car seat that’s compatible with the Mockingbird stroller is the Nuna Pipa Lite or the Pipa Lite R. Both the Nuna Pipa Lite and Pipa Lite R are actually the lightest infant car seats on the market – they weigh 5.3 pounds. The Nuna Pipa Lite LX comes in close second, weighing 5.7 pounds.

What car seats are flame retardant free that are compatible with the Mockingbird stroller?
If you’re looking for a car seat compatible with your Mockingbird stroller and you’re concerned about chemical flame retardants, then your options are the Nuna Pipa,Pipa RX, Pipa Lite, Pipa Lite LX, Pipa Lite R, Maxi-Cosi Mico Max Plus (in “Oynx Bliss) and UPPAbaby Mesa (in “Henry” or “Jordan”).
